Hello everyone, and happy Friday! It’s time for another Let’s Talk Bookish after last week’s day off! Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly meme, hosted by Rukky @ Eternity Books & Dani @ Literary Lion, where we discuss certain topics, share our opinions, and spread the love by visiting each other’s posts. Today’s topic is the popularity of YA, a topic suggested by Ruqs @ Many Things (Not Just) Bookish.Continue reading “Let’s Talk Bookish: The Popularity of YA”

Hello everyone, and happy Tuesday! Today, I’m trying something a bit different from my usual review. I am so behind in reviewing the books that I’ve read, so I decided to bring you a collection of mini-reviews for several books I’ve recently finished. It’s my first time writing mini-reviews, so I’m not sure exactly what I’m doing 😂, but bear with me as I get the hang of this. One major change from a full-length review is that instead of giving the usual segment from Abby the Christian Bookworm, I’ll be adding a Bible verse that reminded me of the book in question at the end of each mini-review.Continue reading “Mini-Reviews: A Song of Wraiths and Ruin, The Voting Booth, A Love Hate Thing”
Hello everyone, and welcome back! I’ve been nominated for the Liebster Award! Many, many thanks to Emily @ Frappes and Fiction for nominating me for this award! If by any chance I still haven’t convinced you to go give her some love (though that seems pretty much impossible with how much I rave over her content), I hereby give you permission to pause in your perusal of this post and go check out her blog.Continue reading “The Liebster Award!”
That’s it. That’s the end of the review.
Well, no. But that is literally the only thing I can think of to say in this intro about this treasure of a book that accurately represents my feelings. It is AMAZING, and I would like to take this time to apologize to all the book bloggers out there whose constant flailing about this series fell upon deaf ears for much too long.Continue reading “Review: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater”

You all know by now that I am a massive fan of the musical Hamilton. When I first discovered and proceeded to fall in love with Hamilton a few years back, the first thing I did was to look into books about the ten-dollar Founding Father. I was not let down. Among them, My Dear Hamilton was one of the books that most intrigued me, and it’s actually the first-ever book I added to my TBR list.Continue reading “Review: My Dear Hamilton by Stephanie Dray & Laura Kamoie”
Welcome back to another installment of Abby Rectifies the Concerning Lack of Bookish Lists on the Blog. Woo!
Today, I’d like to share with you some characters that I would do pretty much anything for. (Except for, you know, breaking the law. I am a morally upright citizen.) There are many ways a character could make it onto this list. It could be because their author is cruel and refuses to give them a break. It could be because of the sin for being too precious for this world. Or it could be because there’s nobody else except me in their life willing to show them love and support. (I’m not crying, you are.)Continue reading “I Would Do Pretty Much Anything for These 5 Characters”
