Another day, another destiny!
Wait, that’s not it. What I meant to say was —
Another month, another wrap-up! Can you believe that we’re already in the last quarter of the year? But honestly, September was one of the few months of 2020 that seemed to last forever. It was an eventful month for me in a lot of ways. For one, I started online school, and my stress levels haven’t just hit the ceiling, they’ve rocketed to the moon and back 😱😭😂 And I’m still getting the hang of fitting in blogging into the mix, so bear with me if you don’t see as much content from me in October!
But I’ll save any further ramblings for the actual post. So without further ado, let’s get into September’s monthly wrap-up!

Hello everyone, and welcome back! Fall is in the air! The weather is turning crisp and cool (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere) and I got the chance to see some beautiful beginnings of autumn foliage when I went apple picking with my family over the weekend. So I’ve come equipped today with just the right type of blog post — the Finally Fall Book Tag! Thank you so much to Alexis @ The Reading Addict for tagging me, and let’s get right into it!

( she said, pretending to not have forgotten to mention this fact in her post from a few days ago ) *ahem* To kick off the new season, today I’ll be completing the Currently Reading Book Tag, which Emily @ Frappes and Fiction tagged me for! I love sharing my reading habits with you guys, so this sounds really fun 😆 Thank you so much for tagging me, Emily, and let’s get right into it!
I didn’t know it was possible for anyone to feel this seen by a historical fiction novel.
About a murder mystery.
Set in the 18th century.
Centered around Catholic persecution.
I didn’t know it was possible, but it apparently is.
I don’t make the rules. 🤷♀️

I’ve missed writing full-length reviews. I cannot believe that the last one I wrote was nearly a month ago. I blame mini-reviews and how addicting they are.
But fortunately, I’m back with my review of Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim, which I enjoyed immensely, much more than I was expecting to. Come for the Chinese culture and Maia’s Mulan-esque character arc, stay for the sizzling romance and the quest.

Hello everyone, and welcome back! Today, I’m bringing you the Musical Shuffle Book Tag! I discovered this tag on Sara’s blog, and it sounded so fun that I reverted to my tag thieving ways for a chance to complete it. I mean, books + musical theatre is the best combination ever, and I know all of you are in agreement. Speaking of which, there is going to be a lot of musical theatre in this post, so if that is somehow offensive to you (um… how?), you can skip over today’s post, I guess 😂

Hello everyone, and welcome back! I am once again behind with reviewing the books I’ve finished recently (what’s new?), so I’m back with another collection of mini-reviews for two of those books: Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory and The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Let’s get right into it!
