Hello everyone!! I am so sorry to say this over halfway through the month, but happy March, otherwise known as Women’s History Month! 🙋♀️💃 And I just realized I never wished you all a happy Black History Month — I had a couple of posts I wanted to get up to honor the occasion, but I guess those never came to fruition… hopefully sometime soon!
But anyway. Time is really speeding by, isn’t it? We’re already around 20% through 2021, and in just a week or so we’ll be a whole quarter through this year! It’s absurd, I tell you. The past two months have been SO crazy school-wise, what with the craziness of a new school semester and a ton of assessments that my teachers suddenly decided to dump on me all at once. As a result, I haven’t been able to get as much reading done, which is sort of disappointing, but we take what we can get, y’know? But I’m hoping that the worst of the chaos is mostly over now, so I’ve decided to (finally) sit down and give you all a very overdue wrap-up of my January and February! I’ve also sort of changed my wrap-up structure, so let me know what you think of it in the comments! Hope you enjoy 💜

Hello hello hello!! Long time, no see, everyone!! First things first: HAPPY NEW YEAR! How have you all been?? I hope you’ve all been staying safe and happy and are well on your way to achieve all of your 2021 goals. I personally am doing very nicely! I know I disappeared on you for like a month (it’s somehow already three weeks into January?!?!) and I’m sorry about that… I blame it on having more winter break homework than anticipated, plus lack of motivation and procrastination.

Hello hello hello everyone!! Happy December! Contrary to all appearances, I have not, in fact, fallen off the face of the earth! Life has been a whirlwind these past two months, but I think everything’s settling into place. Emphasis on I think.
But I’ve been productive in the meantime! I’ve officially jumped on the Toujours bandwagon, and even *gasp* adopted a color scheme! Who knew, maybe graphic design is still an open option for me.
That was sarcasm, by the way.

Another day, another destiny!
Wait, that’s not it. What I meant to say was —
Another month, another wrap-up! Can you believe that we’re already in the last quarter of the year? But honestly, September was one of the few months of 2020 that seemed to last forever. It was an eventful month for me in a lot of ways. For one, I started online school, and my stress levels haven’t just hit the ceiling, they’ve rocketed to the moon and back 😱😭😂 And I’m still getting the hang of fitting in blogging into the mix, so bear with me if you don’t see as much content from me in October!
But I’ll save any further ramblings for the actual post. So without further ado, let’s get into September’s monthly wrap-up!

It’s the end of August. It’s the end of August. It is THE END of AUGUST. 😱😱😱
Yeah, sorry about the drama. School starts again in September, and I can’t believe summer is drawing to an end already. On that note: I’m not sure what’s going to happen to my blogging schedule once school starts, so just warning you in advance. Let’s see how well I can juggle blogging with real life!
Anyway, all this leading to: Let’s get started with August’s monthly wrap-up!

Hello everyone! We’re at the end of another month, which means it’s time for a monthly wrap-up. July seems to have lasted a century, but at the same time, it’s already August?! Time, I will never understand you. (Catch that Hamilton reference?)

It’s time for another monthly wrap-up. June went by so quickly! I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote that I wasn’t being as prolific as possible in May, because 9 books is as prolific as it’s going to get. But I did get some good reading done in June, and I’m looking forward to getting to some amazing books in July!

Can you believe that May is already over? Staying indoors in quarantine seems to make time drag and fly at the same time.
Today, I’ll be doing my first monthly wrap-up here at Beyond the Read! I wasn’t being as prolific as possible in May, but I picked up some stunners and finished a couple of books that I’ve been meaning to read since forever.
