The Month in Books: August 2020

It’s the end of August. It’s the end of August. It is THE END of AUGUST. 😱😱😱

Yeah, sorry about the drama. School starts again in September, and I can’t believe summer is drawing to an end already. On that note: I’m not sure what’s going to happen to my blogging schedule once school starts, so just warning you in advance. Let’s see how well I can juggle blogging with real life!

Review: My Dear Hamilton by Stephanie Dray & Laura Kamoie

You all know by now that I am a massive fan of the musical Hamilton. When I first discovered and proceeded to fall in love with Hamilton a few years back, the first thing I did was to look into books about the ten-dollar Founding Father. I was not let down. Among them, My Dear Hamilton was one of the books that most intrigued me, and it’s actually the first-ever book I added to my TBR list.

I Would Do Pretty Much Anything for These 5 Characters

Welcome back to another installment of Abby Rectifies the Concerning Lack of Bookish Lists on the Blog. Woo!

Today, I’d like to share with you some characters that I would do pretty much anything for. (Except for, you know, breaking the law. I am a morally upright citizen.) There are many ways a character could make it onto this list. It could be because their author is cruel and refuses to give them a break. It could be because of the sin for being too precious for this world. Or it could be because there’s nobody else except me in their life willing to show them love and support. (I’m not crying, you are.)
